[ History ] :
Touma was born on October 10th, 1973 in Osaka-Fu. His father was a university researcher who specialized in physics and astronomy while his mother was an international journalist who was also ten years younger than her husband. Both were often busy, leaving Touma with a lot of time to himself growing up to do as he pleased. He basically grew up alone and really didn't have any friends since he had an IQ of 250 which made it hard for him to connect with other children his age. This suited him fine though and he kept to himself since that was what he liked and what he was used to.
Growing up, he took an interest in the opposite direction that his father took. He wanted to learn more about ancient history and strategy. This was something he could absorb himself in and he had the apartment even more to himself when his mother divorced his father when he was just twelve. His interest only grew when he learned about the yoroi legend that had been passed down through his father's side of the family. He even went so far as to develop a computer program that would allow him to analyze the data but wasn't able to understand the results he was seeing. It wasn't until his mother happened to stop by for a visit and identified Ama no hashidate. It was there that he found his yoroi Tenku and took on the orb of Wisdom. This took place a year before the battle.
A year later he traveled to the Shinjuku district where Arago had decided to bring his castle into the human world, taking the district as his hostage so he could use the energies given off by the people he captured. Unable to properly work together, the five Troopers (who just met each other and could only agree on the fact that they should protect a young woman and a boy) decided to rush the castle in order to take down Arago. Unfortunately, their lack of teamwork was what defeated them and all five armors were scattered across Japan. Touma himself was sent to hover in space deep in sleep until someone could come and wake him up.
He was the last to be found of the Troopers who still hadn't fully found a way to work as a team. So much so that Ryou and Shuu ran off to attack the castle again without waiting for the others to join. All the while Touma continued to float high above them. Arago, realizing where Touma was, decided to throw the Netherworld version of a fireball at him since it would be able to reach space. The first launched but Kaosu stopped it before it could reach him. However, he didn't give up and sent another. By this time, Ryou had reached the scene and entered the fireball to travel up into space to rescue Touma who had no idea that he was being attacked. Fortunately the fireball was able to be destroyed and Tenku woke up enough to save Touma and Ryou from space, flying them back down to Earth where they were confronted by Shuten.
This was one of the four Warlords, Arago's strongest warriors. It seemed that they were some kind of demon since they were so powerful. Ryou was too weak to fight so it was Touma who took on the Warlord. In doing so, he launched his Surekill which hit Shuten's helmet. The helmet split and it was revealed for the first time that the Warlords were just like them. They were human. Arago had no intention of losing one of his warriors though and took him back into his possession so that way he could make sure that Shuten would be loyal to him. And so Touma and Ryou rejoined the others.
Together they decided it was time to take on Arago's castle again. Through some effort they managed to get into Shinjuku again but were confronted by a revived Shuten. Kaosu intervened here and worked to revive Shuten's Virtue. However, the other three Warlords interrupted this and stole him away. So the Troopers were left with nothing else to do but to find a way to get into the castle. They needed a bridge to get there. This was something that Kaosu said that he could provide. What he didn't tell them was that he would use up all his powers and sacrifice himself to provide this bridge for them. Not wanting to waste his sacrifice, the Troopers got into the pillar of light and made it to the castle. There they were all separated by the remaining three Warlords who had put Shuten in prison below so he wouldn't get in the way.
Touma and Shuu ended up together facing the Warlord of Illusion. Using his arrows, Touma found the real Warlord in the illusions and then Shuu took on the Warlord himself, instructing Touma to go on ahead and help Ryou. But Arago ended up summoning the Warlords back into himself. One by one he also absorbed the Troopers into his body after defeating them. It wasn't long before he had all but Ryou inside his body. Ryou fought as best he could but was soon absorbed along with his friends. But inside of Arago the others were still wanting Ryou to fight on. So they encouraged him and the five yoroi join together to create a white one that Ryou then used to defeat Arago with. The Netherworld fades away and Shinjuku and the human world was saved.
The five Troopers decided to live together at Nasuti's place. All of them needed to rest, especially Ryou. Apparently the mysterious white yoroi could drain them of energy if they weren't careful and since they weren't used to it being careful was a challenge. It was during this time that Touma's mother decided to pay a visit. A demon attacked during this time and he had to make sure that it didn't take down the plane his mother was on. It was also at this time that he learned to fly while in his yoroi.
After this visit, Touma went with Seiji to go to Shinjuku to see if the damage was lasting. It appeared that there were no further signs of damage from Arago's attack. So they headed back to Nasuti's place when they were suddenly stopped by an attack from someone in the Netherworld who was trying to take Arago's place after his defeat. His name was Saranbo and they used the white yoroi to defeat his shadow and his warriors. It was in this moment that Saranbo took an interest in the yoroi and did what he could in order to claim it as his own. However, Ryou managed to summon the white yoroi and defeated him. But it damaged his swords.
They all went in search of the swords they needed and discovered that a being known as Kenbukyou was in possession of them. However, he didn't intend to give them up without a fight. Ryou's tiger Byakuen decided to take matters into his own paws and ran after the black version of him and stole one of the swords. Sadly, he was injured in the process and though he gave the sword to Ryou, he was hurt too badly to survive. Summoning the white yoroi, Ryou defeated Kenbukyou and claimed the other sword. The black version of Byakuen went and joined with Byakuen, saving his life. It was unclear after that if this was in fact still Byakuen or not.
Around this time, the Troopers began to have dreams given to them by Kaosu. They said that their armors weren't just about fighting. They needed to get their spirits in order. So they all went back to the places where their armors were located. This caused everyone with an S name to get captured by evil (Seiji, Shin, and Shuu.) In the meantime, Touma went to the lake and easily trained himself to get stronger without needing to be attacked by anyone. Afterward, he was transported into the clouds by a mysterious woman named Kayura. She dropped him down but his armor saved him. He then rushed off to Ryou and she found them there and informed them that their friends were captured in the Netherworld. They returned to Nasuti's place where they argued about what they were going to do. In this time, Kayura attacked them again and a strange man with Kaosu's staff intervened, helping them summon the white yoroi to defeat her.
The man revealed himself to be Shuten who was going by Kaosu's will and would help them get to Arago's place to save their friends. They were attacked by Kayura again but Shuten used the energy to create a gate for Ryou and Touma so they could get to the Netherworld. Together they fought their way towards the castle to save their friends and came across a warrior who had a sword created from the powers of their friends. Rushing through, Touma managed to give the others a signal and the five joined together to form the white yoroi again to defeat the warrior. They pushed forward and Touma realized there was just one way to make sure they found their friends. Namely, he let himself be captured.
He was then taken to the location where the other three had been put into a frozen state. With the power of his arrows, he managed to rescue them and the four escaped the prison, rising up to help Ryou with Kayura. Of course, this was when the Warlords appeared and they had been sucking on Netherworld juice to make themselves stronger. They tricked Shin, Shuu, and Ryou to run off after them and it was Shuten had to come and save them to bring them back to Seiji and Touma. But not before Seiji nicks the breastplate that Kayura is wearing. They form the white yoroi and break the breastplate revealing that she was possibly having her mind controlled by evil. Before anything else could happen though Arago took her back.
Reunited, the Troopers worked together to train for their encounter with Arago. They left Nasuti and Jun with Shuten who was meditating to find out just who Kayura was. The Troopers in the meantime were heading to the castle when they were stopped by Kayura who was now possessed by the head Nether spirit. She had a giant Netherworld fireball that she used to defeat the Troopers who were put into separate towers to help Arago invade the human world. It wasn't long after that that the Warlords, including Shuten, were captured as well. However, Shuten escaped and managed to bring Kayura's memories back, making her one of the good guys. Doing so mean that he died though.
Jun and Nasuti rushed to save the Troopers from their fate but it wasn't until they were attacked that the Jewel of Life they had activated. It saved the eight still captured and they all went to try to save the human world by fighting against Arago. But it was too late and Arago moved into the human world. The white yoroi was then summoned but was defeated by Arago who then went to absorb it. The virtues of the five in the armor paralyzed the evil lord. They all tearfully attacked him and managed to destroy him completely. The castle also vanished and the human world was saved. Kayura and the three surviving Warlords appeared and said they would go repair the Netherworld. The Troopers then played baseball with the Jewel of Life, celebrating together for defeating evil.
[ Personality ] :
Touma is a very calm individual with a quiet sort of confidence. He is someone who can come across as cool to people he doesn't know well but it's always clear that he knows exactly what he's doing. In fact, if someone were to talk to him, they might be certain that it's actually an adult on the other end. It's the way he holds himself, the way that he talks to people. Quite honestly it goes well with the nickname that he's been given, the Living Computer.
This nickname also suits him because he is extremely intelligent. Hardly a surprise for someone with an IQ of 250. Some of his favorite activities are things like studying, chess, Goh (Japanese chess), puzzles, computer games. Though he's actually the youngest of the Troopers, he's the one that acts the most like an adult. His mother even says that he's always acted like an old man. A fact that has put him at odds with people socially when they aren't that familiar with him. But it also means that he's extremely good at strategy. There are few that could out strategize him. He is even described as being the most dangerous of all the Troopers by Rajura because of this.
He lacks some social skills and before he got to know the Troopers, Nasuti, and Jun, he had no friends. Much of his time has been spent on his own so that's what he's used to. Though he's a little better about making sure to be with other people, he still has times where he just does his own thing since that's always what he does at home. He's not used to eating meals together in a group or going and participating in a group activity. No, he will just take a book and go off to read it until he's ready to come back. This attitude can make him seem stuck up even when he's far from it. He's just not used to the typical social graces that others have. Things that people learn by continually interacting with others. He will even forget that not everyone will understand something that he gets with a glance. Like a math problem. It's something he can take one look at and understand while others would be confused.
Because of his lack of people skills, he can miss when it's a proper time to make jokes or he can argue a point that should really be left alone. Mainly because he finds it to be wrong logically. So what else is there to do but to correct the other person? That makes sense, right? It's not that he's trying to be mean or anything like that. Sometimes he just doesn't realize that people don't actually do things like that. But pointing out that he's doing something like this can make him freeze up and get defensive about it. To say things that he doesn't actually mean. And on the flip side, he can be rather awkward around overly affectionate people since he really has no idea how to be affectionate in return. Even if he figures out that he's supposed to be affectionate.
It should be noted that he really does have quite the temper when pushed too far. It's accurate enough to call him as violent as a tornado. Though it's rare for him to actually lose his temper, there is no denying that it's not a good thing when he does. Much of the time though, he can keep his anger in check without really having to think about it. He approaches things logically rather than with emotions. It keeps his head clear so that way he can handle anything that is thrown his way. Some people may think that he doesn't care but that's far from the case. Especially if people he cares about are involved.
While it's difficult for him to open up to people, he can actually manage it. It sometimes takes similar personality types to him or people being patient with him but it is possible. And once he's friends with them then he'll do anything for those people. They are people that Touma will protect with his very life. Much like when he sacrificed himself in a battle so that way he could be captured and taken to where his friends were held captive. Just so he could rescue them. He also has a very strong sense of justice and while he will approach things logically he will not just sacrifice needlessly.
Touma here has an AB bloodtype. Though that wouldn't really mean much to someone, in Japan that can dictate a lot. In this case he has a tendency to seek revenge, a high pride, and a tendency to insult. All of this is accurate in his case. When someone goes after his friends then he will seek revenge even if he isn't likely to rush into the action. He is also very aware of what he is capable of and proud of the fact. Sometimes he can seem prideful about it and it's possible that this isn't too far from the truth. As for the tendency to insult, well, when one lacks the knowledge of how to properly act in a situation then one is likely to say things that should be kept quiet. Just little things. Really he doesn't actually mean to insult anyone.
Now for some more fun stuff about his personality. Because he resides over the element of air, he is often drawn to higher places and things like the stars. So one of the things he likes to do back home is watch them late into the night. That is, when he's not playing computer games late into the night. This leaves him sleeping in. His version of waking up early is to wake up at eleven in the morning. It doesn't help that he has low blood pressure on top of that. Waking up in general is a struggle. He also needs to eat more. He actually eats as much as Shuu if not more than him. He simply doesn't comment on food nearly as much as his friend.
Another thing he adores is the sport of baseball. It's a favorite passtime of his and he will play it or watch it. It really doesn't matter to Touma which he does. He appears to have some talent for it and even manages to act like the teenager he is when he's playing it. It reveals that when he lets go, he can have fun just like anyone else around him. He is willing to exercise and such to keep himself fit for this sport and probably hopes to join a professional team in the future.
Around people that he's comfortable with, he can manage to joke around too. He knows how to have a good time if he's with a group that understands him, that he cares about. A great example is that he has been seen joking around with the other Troopers, laughing with them, teasing Shuu for his antics. These are people that he can relax around and wants to relax around. As stated before, even then it should be noted that while he's the youngest of the Troopers, he's the most mature. The least likely to pranks on other people even if he teases his friends. It's just not in his nature.
Touma has a talent for grounding people in a serious situation. Of recognizing where the mindset needs to be and guiding others to it. He also is good at providing sound advice for just about any situation. It's hardly a surprise that he's the embodiment of the virtue of wisdom. It's good to listen to him when he advises you because he can lead you towards the right path. And he won't let anything petty get in the way of him providing advise that someone needs to hear. It's just not in his nature to cause someone harm that way. He's also a great listener who gathers all the facts before actually acting upon them. If he needs to, he can be a good leader who recognizes the strengths and weaknesses of those around him. But if a sacrifice is necessary then he will let that sacrifice be himself.
Honestly Touma can be a great friend once he opens up a bit. Sometimes people just need to be patient with him. But he will eventually get there. Still, he has some habits that he just hasn't broken yet. That doesn't change the fact that he's steadfastly loyal though and willing to be there for those he cares about. This is someone not used to having friends but will do anything for the ones that he has. He's very intelligent which means he has trouble connecting with other people. However, that intelligence is a great asset to him and a valuable tool to those that he will lend it to. As a whole, he's a very good person, just the kind of young many that anyone would want to get to know really. He does fluster easily when he's unsure of how to handle a social situation though which can lead to him getting defensive and perhaps insulting. Yet, he can warm up pretty quickly to share things and to help other people.
[ Strengths/Weaknesses ] :
Strengths: On a physical level, it seems that Touma is quite fit. He is has great balance and is quite strong. It also appears that he's fast as well as agile, not to mention the fact that he has superb hand to eye coordination. There is the fact that he seems to heal quite rapidly as well. At least faster than the average human being. However, his combat style tends to be one of keeping his distance and showering the enemy with arrows to overwhelm them. Only when they get too close will he actually rush forward to combat them. It's also quite clear that he's at his strongest when he's up high in the air. Hardly a surprise since his yoroi is that of Firmament (vast expanses of sky). Once in the sky there are very few that can actually take him down.
His strongest battleground though is in the mind. With an IQ of 250, he has the mind of a genius. Trying to outthink him is generally not recommended and he can visualize the various things someone else might attempt. The Warlord of Illusion stated that Touma was quite possibly the most dangerous of all the Troopers because of his intelligence levels. His greatest fear was to have Touma rejoin the others. This also give him a logical approach to things that keeps him calm in tense situations, something he can guide others to.
He also has an ability to view things as a whole while he's absorbing little details. So when others focus on one thing, he's already seen several moves ahead to the next point. There is no denying that he can grasp the bigger picture. And he appears to have perfect recall. There is a reason why he is nicknamed the Living Computer. His mind basically is one. This also helps him have a stronger grasp on technology than others. How many twelve year olds can write a computer program, after all? And while he's used technology found in the late 80s, he can still figure out new technology fast enough. Besides, two of his hobbies are puzzles and computer games. This is a mind that stays active.
Weaknesses: Perhaps Touma's biggest flaw/weakness is his lack of social skills. Not to say that he's completely without them. Oh no, it's not that at all. More like, he is set in his own ways that leave him in solitude and adapting to being around people is a bit of a challenge for him. People tend to need to drag him into things to make sure that he participates. Because if he's left to his own devices then he'll go off by himself without really paying attention to anything else. Up in a tree to read a book rather than join a group of friends for a meal together, for example. He's not trying to avoid people, he just doesn't pay attention to the fact that they would enjoy having his company. He can't be called anti-social but he doesn't go out of his way to be a part of a group activity most of the time either.
Another fault of his is that he often expects everyone else to see things the way that he does. If something is easy for him then it should be for everyone. So he can end up saying something seemingly cold about paying more attention or the like because he doesn't realize that not everyone can grasp things the way that he does. He often requires someone else to point out to him that not everyone is going to find things come as easily to them. It's also a reason why he has trouble opening up to others and certainly why he prefers solitude over being social. Plus, there is the fact that he has trouble breaking old habits. If he's used to doing something one way then he can be known to just do it without realizing that maybe he should try something new. He grew up having to do everything on his own. Others can find his little habits a bit odd too if they're not used to them.
Physically speaking, he doesn't appear to have many weaknesses save for something rather important. He has low blood pressure that makes it challenging for him to wake up in the mornings. While others can get up early in the morning and be just fine, Touma really can't. Getting up early to him means getting up at around eleven in the morning. Of course, he also has a habit of staying up later than anyone else too. So his body's schedule is completely different from the ones that other people happen to have. He also needs a lot of food to keep his body going. Apparently he can eat as much as Shuu can but it's just not as noticeable since he doesn't actually talk about food as often as his friend does. But this could be due to the low blood pressure thing or it could just be that he's an active teenage boy.
[ Other Important Facts ] :
It should be noted a head of time that while Touma's powers and abilities are strong, this does not mean they can't be overcome. Far from that. He can be dodged or taken down if someone is stronger or faster than him. It would not be the first time that he has been defeated by someone. Touma can manage on his own but it's quite clear with how the yoroi are described that he needs the others in order to be at his strongest. He also prefers to be the one to attack from the back first before actually striking head on. This allows him to fire a large number of arrows at the enemy first. But he is also quite capable of fighting hand to hand as well and is best at jumping attacks as well as attacks that require the full force of his body to strike his opponent. Just remember that he's very cunning so he's more likely to strike in a way that goes for a weak point in order to win. His favorite position is somewhere high up where he can aim at anything around him. That said, his attacks are very powerful and can take down an enemy quickly.
Skills Possessed by a Bearer of Tenku
* Flight: Unlike the other Troopers, Touma's armor will surround him with a protective bubble that will actually allow him to literally fly through the air for a short period of time.
* Able to Adapt to Lack of Oxygen: The normal reaction for people as they get higher into the air is to have trouble breathing. He is actually able to be comfortable and breathe just as normally higher up in the air as he is when he's down on the ground.
* Sky-kinesis: While he can't actually create tornadoes around him, he can use the air to enhance his fighting abilities. Sky is the label here rather than air because he can actually do this when there is a lack of air as well so long as the area around him is sky. It's sort of a nudge that helps to give his powers a little edge over the competition.
* Environmental Enhancement: Like all the Troopers, Touma is strongest when he's in his natural environment. For him this means being up in the sky. This means being high above the others but it seems he also has the advantage of drawing on the air that surrounds him as well.
Orb Powers Used when Touma is holding the orb with the Virtue of Wisdom inside of it.
* Location: When holding his orb, he can use it to trace where the other four orbs are located at the time. It will glow and draw him towards those who have the other yoroi. It's a simple enough tracking device for when he's not actually in his yoroi. After Shin moved through water to get to the other in the first OAV, it can be implied that Touma may be able to get from one body of sky to another in very desperate situations. However, he hasn't ever been seen using this power.
* Virtue: Touma is the embodiment of Wisdom. So while he can use these abilities of his mind without the orb, it can be implied that he enhances his mind while he is holding onto it. This virtue will also glow a dark blue on his forehead when it is particularly strong.
* Under Armor Transformation: This is an armor that wears under his yoroi. It provides more power and protection than being without it does however it leaves him without an actual weapon. Mostly it just enhances his physical capabilities to make him stronger in combat situations and nothing more. Though it should be noted that he can still lend his power to Ryo to call upon the white yoroi even if he's only wearing this.
Armor Powers All of these require Touma to be already transformed into his Under Armor
* Yoroi (Full Armor) Transformation: By shouting "Busou Tenku!", he is able to call upon his yoroi of Firmament so long as he has faith in it. Bolts of silk will fly around him then burst into sakura blossoms to leave him standing there in Tenku and posing dramatically. His physical abilities will be even more enhanced to make him even more dangerous in combat. When in this dark blue yoroi, he carries a collapsible hankyu (a Japanese war bow) and carries a quiver on his back. This quiver will supply him with an endless amount of arrows that spring out into his hand when he reaches back. The helmet also allows him to breathe in places like outer space where there is no air at all.
* Surekill Move: Shin Ku Ha/Vacuum Wave is a move that Touma can perform in one of two ways. The first is that he jumps high into the air and allows the space around him to collect at the very tip of the arrow he has on his bow. Once it is collected there then he shouts Shin Ku Ha which launches the arrow with a huge wave of air that obliterates all in its path. The stronger version of this is Cho Dan Do Shin Ku Ha which is basically the Ultra Ballistic Vacuum Wave. So, he does the same thing but the move ends up with more power behind it than the first.
* Yoroi Resonance: This is when the yoroi will pulse and glow. The virtue of the individual will appear on his forehead and when represents the bond between the five yoroi. It's a powerful bond that is typically displayed when searching for a comrade (the yoroi will glow when they get close to their friend), calling for help (different from searching since this is when they are in danger and calling to an ally for aid), and when the five are united as one. During this last one, the five must be close enough to each other for the yoroi to connect. This can be used to defeat a powerful enemy and is also used for calling upon the great white armor.
* Bubble Shield: All the yoroi have a power to call upon a bubble that surrounds them to protect them if necessary. If he suffers a mortal wound, it can appear to protect him until he wakes up or an ally collects him. It can also be used to hide away the yoroi so that way evil can't find him while he rests. There is also the added advantage of him being able to fly for a time when this bubble surrounds him since it will carry him through the air and can even protect him from something like the Earth's atmosphere.
* Shield Barrier: When all five Troopers are together they can summon a shield to surround someone that really cannot be undone. By doing this, they leave their yoroi surrounding the one they are protecting. The disadvantage to this is that they are left without their weapons and thus weakened when in a combat situation.
[ Sample ] :
Stuff from Dear Mun. Plus the following samples are from a Drama Drama Duck application:
First Person (entry type):
Someone asked me why I feel the need to be in high places. Rooftops, trees, places like that. It as if they thought it strange that I would feel drawn to areas of that nature. Apparently the thing that is considered "normal" is to reside somewhere closer to the ground, somewhere safe. I guess that is where people feel the most at peace.
Yet, where I feel the most at peace is in places where the sky surrounds me. The air is the main thing around my body. Perhaps others find the high places dangerous but I feel I can rest there.
The definition of firmament is an expanse of sky. The heavens basically. Up there one can view the greater picture of just what the world is. If we really didn't want to reach up towards it then why do we stand? Why do things grow taller?
Maybe it's something that only makes sense to me. That desire to be somewhere that is like my own personal heaven. Then again, we're drawn to what our elements are. So, I guess that really explains it better than anything else ever could.
Third Person:
It had taken at least fifteen minutes for him to convince Shuu that he didn't want to have dinner with everyone else. Another five to tell the others that he'd be fine on his own. Even then he'd still needed to lock the door in order to ensure that Shuu didn't come into the room he was in. He had a large plate of food that he could snack off of and he knew he could get more later if he really wanted to. But really, he was just done with the social interactions for the day.
They'd all been invited to come spend a week at Nasuti's place after the fall of Arago. It was a good way to reconnect and spend time together as friends. Really, Touma appreciated the effort but sometimes he just needed that bit of time to himself. He could unlock the door later when Seiji wanted to go to bed but this kept him from being interrupted until then. Popping a piece of the food into his mouth, he started up a game on the computer. It was one that he'd gotten his hands on a couple of weeks back but just hadn't had time to play yet. It looked interesting enough so he wanted to check it out. Now seemed like a good opportunity.
Games like this had always been good entertainment for him. They helped him to pass the time when he was finished with homework. It wasn't as if he needed to study even if he actually liked to. So there were times when he just wanted to have something to occupy his mind for awhile. It was why he settled on computer games. Things that had little challenges in them that he would have to figure out in order to win. Just the kind of thing he needed.
Really he didn't feel that bad about skipping out on eating with everyone else. He had had lunch with them. Without argument too. But after everything they'd been through, he still wasn't used to things like having a meal with other people. That was something he'd never done growing up. Not that it was something that bothered Touma though. He wasn't lonely at all. It had just been a fact that he thought everyone dealt with. Finding out that eating alone all the time wasn't exactly the normal thing to do had been rather shocking to him. People actually did that? Sighing, he settled his fingers on the keys and started the first level of the game.
He treasured his friends more than he had anyone in a long time. They were people that he actually wanted to change his habits to be around. He'd do anything to ensure their safety as well. True his virtue wasn't loyalty but it didn't have to be. All of them were his precious friends now. People he'd fought side by side with and had sacrificed so much for. In all honesty, they were the first friends he'd ever had.
Blasting the enemy space aliens, Touma smiled a bit to himself. Honestly he wondered if any of the others even had an interest in computer games. It was around that time he heard a knock on the door followed by Jun's voice. Pausing the game, he looked over and debated answering or not. It wasn't long though before he went over and opened the door to let the little boy in.
"Would you like me to teach you a game, Jun?" he asked as he helped the boy onto his lap and started showing him the keys he needed to press to play. It wasn't long before they were lost in the game, not even noticing when the other poked their heads in to smile at the way he was opening up to someone, allowing another person to enter into his bubble of wanting to be alone. Touma laughed when he saw Jun flail a bit when he died in the game and brought his hands forward to help with the controls.
"Here. The game goes like this..."
There was a time when he would have spent the entire night to himself. After computer games it would be sitting on the roof for hours to watch the stars. All of it all on his own without a single person around. Though he wasn't sure when things had shifted a bit, Touma had to admit that he rather liked the idea of playing these games with another person. It was fun. Sure he still wanted some alone time here and there but it was becoming clear to him that this could be a good time too.
So this was what having friends was like.

[ History ] :
